They have the kind of laughs that are genuine, wholehearted, gut-splitting, and quickly infectious. Listening to LA, Emily, Erica, and Nellie laugh as we spent time together this weekend, I took pause to thank God for bringing these three women and one granddaughter into my life. March has been designated women’s month. From the mothers who nurtured us, the spouses that love us, the children that inspire us, and the trailblazers who redefine possibilities, women enrich our lives in ways both profound and immeasurable that go beyond thirty-one days of recognition. This morning’s M5T celebrates the beauty, strength, and love of women.
1. GRACE IN EVERY STEP. The women in my life have shown me that true beauty isn’t just in appearances. It’s in how they carry themselves with wisdom, kindness, and unshakable confidence as they navigate life’s challenges with grace. From my mother and grandmother, my wife, family, friends, and the colleagues that I’ve work with, their grace has been a constant source of inspiration. Their quiet strength has shaped my understanding of what it means to carry oneself with dignity and poise. From the way they carry themselves with elegance to the unshakable confidence they exude, women embody a beauty that transcends the physical that is found in their wisdom, resilience, and kindness.
2. STRENGTH BEYOND MEASURE. I’ve witnessed the incredible resilience of the women around me. Whether they have overcome obstacles and pushed through challenges, standing up for what’s right and staying firm in their convictions, supporting and encouraging those they love, or lifting others up, they’ve taught me what real strength looks like. Not just power, but persistence wrapped in compassion. Their strength inspires to be more patient, more understanding, and more determined in the face of trials. Women possess a strength that is both fierce and compassionate. They fight battles seen and unseen, always rising stronger.
3. HEART OF HUMANITY. Lessons that my mother taught me formed the foundations of the man I am today. LA’s unwavering support and encouragement remind me daily of the magic of marriage, and the power of a Godly partnership. The love of family, the guidance of teachers in school, and friendships that have stood the test of time, have provided insight, encouragement, and a deeper sense of connection. Women’s ability to listen, understand, and uplift make our lives infinitely richer. They are the soul of love and empathy, the ones who heal with a touch, inspire with a word, and bring warmth to even the coldest corners of life. Their love is boundless and shape the legacies of generations.
4. ARCHITECTS OF CHANGE. Women that I have most admired have been those who have risen above the deepest of valleys, those that challenged norms, shattered expectations, and redefined possibilities, for themselves and others. Their leadership, creativity, and drive encourage us all to think bigger, work harder, and embrace change with confidence. From the foundations and strength of family, scientific breakthroughs to artistic masterpieces, from social movements to boardrooms, women have always been at the forefront of change, rewriting history and building a future that is more just, more loving, and more powerful.
5. LEGACY OF INSPIRATION. Whether a mother, spouse, sister, friend, mentor, or trailblazer, women leave indelible imprints on our lives that cannot be erased. Their stories, their courage, and their love not only serve to inspire, but make our world infinitely richer. They teach us patience, resilience, and the importance of seeing the world through multiple perspectives. Women make us better persons, better professionals, and better partners. The stories of their lives remind us that beauty, strength, and love are not just qualities. They are forces that shape the world.
Here's to celebrating the women who love us, inspire us, challenge us, and make our world infinitely better.
